Mr. Steinmetz is an EMMY award winning television director now retired from the entertainment industry after over forty years producing, directing, and writing for the television and film industry.
His many credits include the popular children's program, “Land of the Lost”; situation comedies, “Barney Miller”, “Alice”, and “We Got It Made”; and daytime dramas, “The Young and the Restless”, “The Bold and the Beautiful”, “Santa Barbara”, “Sunset Beach”, “Passions” and “Tribes”.
He was the Executive Producer, co-writer on the wildly popular Disney Channel series “The Mickey Mouse Club” and later “MMC”. He also created, produced, co-wrote, and directed the Disney Channel series “Emerald Cove”.
His long form credits include “Record City”, “Halloween with the Adams Family”, featuring the original cast, and “Tarzan: The Epic Adventures.”
He came out of retirement to write his first novel “An Act of Vengeance” featuring three families who make their homes on the majestic islands of Hawaii.
